- Average temperature in WA has risen by 0.5o C since settlement. If the sometimes suggested temperature increase of 2.0oC by 2100 does occur, what will be the consequences for WA?
- Considering current trends and predicted climate change in WA, what opportunities do these present?
- A graph presented by CSIRO shows that if CO2 levels peak or are reduced, sea level will continue to rise for over a 1000 years and temperature will continue to rise for at least 100 years. Why should we bother about emissions reduction? Should adaptation to inevitable change be the preferred approach?
