What We Do

The Environmental Consultants Association (WA) Inc. (ECA) is the professional body representing commercial environmental consultants throughout Western Australia. The Association both represents the interests of its members and promotes development of the environmental industry.

ECA Committee

The ECA is represented by an elected Committee that  represents the Association on stakeholder reference groups; co-ordinates responses to requests for comment; delivers training, information seminars and networking events; lobby’s on behalf of members to relevant stakeholders, government agencies and government.

Scholarship

The ECA Ray Hart Memorial Award was created in 2004 to perpetuate the memory of Dr Ray Hart who was a graduate of the University of Western Australia (UWA) and the founding President of the Environmental Consultants Association (WA) Inc (ECA).

Policies

The Environmental Consultants Association (WA) Inc. is the professional body representing commercial environmental consultants.The Association both represents the interests of members and promotes the proper development of the industry.

The Association has adopted various policy papers and guidelines that may be of interest to members, their clients and the public. These are reviewed on a regular basis and are made publicly available.

Honorary Members

Honorary Life Members of the ECA are Individuals who have rendered eminent service in the field of environmental consulting and/or to the Association.

History Of The ECA

The formation and early history of the Environmental Consultant’s Association (WA) Inc.
