Profile

In my role as a Principal Scientist with Hydrobiology, I leverage my extensive expertise in Marine Science, backed by a Ph.D. and more than 25 years of research, consulting and university teaching experience. My primary focus is on delivering top-tier environmental consulting services for marine projects. I bring a wealth of knowledge spanning various areas, including decommissioning, environmental risk assessment, coral reef ecology, ecotoxicology, oceanography, and nature-based solutions. I employ a diverse range of scientific tools and methodologies to evaluate and monitor the environmental consequences and associated risks associated with different activities and interventions.

Furthermore, I hold the titles of Associate Research Fellow at the Caribbean Research Institute for Marine Biodiversity, Senior Technical Advisor to Caribbean Environmental Risk Solutions, and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland. These affiliations allow me to engage in cutting-edge research and publish findings related to a broad spectrum of topics within marine ecology. My passion lies in advancing our scientific understanding of the intricate and ever-evolving interactions and processes that govern marine ecosystems, especially in how they respond to various disturbances.
